Domaine François Mikulski

Meursault

Attending Winemakers: François & Marie-Pierre Mikulski

Established in 1992, Domaine Mikulski relentlessly pursues authenticity, purity and elegance through painstaking cleanliness in the winery, use of high-performance cellar technology and acute attention to biological balance in the vineyard. François' father, Lieutenant Mieczyslaw Mikulski, escaped from occupied Poland in 1939, fleeing to England and joining the Resistance troops of the Free Polish Forces. There he met his future wife, a Burgundian woman working on an English army base, and moved to Brussels where François was born and raised. He spent his formative summers in Burgundy, where he fell in love with the agrarian lifestyle and determined that he would one day make wine himself. François works hand in hand with his wife Marie-Pierre, the daughter of François Germain of the Château de Chorey. Domaine Mikulski’s wines are brilliant expressions of Meursault’s finest appellations.
